At 11 weeks old, Nova is proving she’s not just a beautiful girl, she’s becoming a wonderful travel companion. She just debuted her road trip skills on a big one: Wexford to Nashville, as our family moved our daughter into Belmont University for her freshman year. And this little muffin did it like a pro.
Whether she was curled up against her mom Bagel or aunt Cookie, or drifting off with her head resting right on you, Nova settled in like she’d been doing it her whole life. Somewhere between the miles and the goodbyes, she reminded us why home is wherever your people are.
That’s the kind of companion Nova is going to be for her forever family, the one who rides shotgun on road trips, who naps in your lap at the end of a long day, who turns an ordinary day into an extraordinary one.
She’s still waiting for that family. But whoever it is, they are in for a blessing.
